Peer Review (3/13/14)

Today in class I helped peer review several cyberfair projects from other schools to practice our peer reviewing skills. Studying these blogs from other schools allows us to see what steps we should take to make an excellent website for our presentation.

This is the first time I have done peer review, and we looked at two different projects, one in texas about health and good eating habits, and the second was in Missouri, and was about career awareness.

Rancho Coastal Visit

Last Friday ( 3/7/14) our class went to Rancho Coastal Humane Society and did some community service, including cleaning the grounds of trash, cleaning windows, and picking up discarded dog toys. We worked from around 11 to 1:45, and also interviewed some of the staff. We recorded the interviews and took several pictures of us working along with pictures of the animals, and are currently being edited together by max.
